Spartans (Midlands)

Welcome to the Spartans U8s. We’re a fun, inclusive, and energetic group for children in year 3 who are ready to enjoy the excitement of rugby in a safe and encouraging environment. Age this age group, there is no contact and so we play tag rugby.

Our focus is all about teamwork, building confidence, and developing skills through play. Whether your child is completely new to the game or already has a passion for running with the ball, they’ll feel right at home with us.

At Spartans, we believe the most important thing is having fun while learning the basics of rugby. We create a supportive atmosphere where every child feels valued and can grow at their own pace. From running and tagging to cheering on teammates, we celebrate effort over results and focus on creating positive experiences for all. We train between 5:45 and 6:45pm on Tuesday nights at Coppice Lane. We play approximately 8 friendly fixtures against other teams and participate in festivals too.
